What happens after you request a free estimate?

After you send the form, Modern Home Roofing & Chimney calls you back to set a time. We inspect the roof, chimney, gutters or siding, photograph what we find, and give you a written estimate. It costs you nothing, even if you hire someone else. We are licensed (NJ HIC 13VH13268400) and work in 14 New Jersey counties.

We call you backWe call you back shortly to set a time. If your ZIP is outside the 14 counties we cover, we tell you on that call so you are not left waiting.
We come out and inspect itIt is best if you are home so we can walk you through what we find. If you cannot be, tell us how to get to the roof or the side of the house, and we will go over it with you after.
We photograph what we findA wet ceiling is rarely directly under the hole. We look until we find where the water actually gets in, and we take pictures of it.
You get a written estimateScope, materials and the price, on paper. If we open something up later and find a problem underneath, we stop and show you before we touch it. If you hire someone else, you owe us nothing.

Yes, for roofs, chimneys, gutters and siding. We come out, take photos, and tell you what we find. You get a written estimate. If you go with somebody else, you owe us nothing.

It helps. If you are home, we walk you through the photos while we are there. If you cannot be, tell us how to get to the part of the house we need to see, and we will go over what we found with you after.

Call us. Put a bucket under it and move anything that can get ruined. If we can get a tarp on it before the next storm, that keeps the damage from spreading while we sort out the real repair. Fast response, but call first.

Sometimes. Insurers generally cover sudden damage from wind or a falling limb, and generally do not cover a roof that simply wore out. We photograph what we find so you have something to hand your adjuster. We do not decide the claim.
